Lucy Baldwin is the shipwright of the Jackdaw, a gifted craftswoman whose skill keeps the vessel strong through storms, battle, and the wear of life at sea. Independent and fiercely capable, she has earned her place through talent, determination, and years of hard work rather than reputation or privilege. Lucy is known for her sharp wit, practical mind, and stubborn streak, often meeting challenges head-on with a confidence that can be both frustrating and admirable. Beneath her guarded exterior, however, lies a deeply loyal and compassionate woman who values honesty and trust above all else. As a vital member of the Jackdaw’s crew, she is more than a mechanic of wood and sail—she is a steady presence whose resilience, intelligence, and unwavering resolve help hold both the ship and the people aboard it together.
