From Blur (Removed cutscenes) - Ajay & Mars are both the most loyal subjects of Khan, the leader of the City Slickers league in London; both men look like they're in their late 20s and have a rough attitude, since they've both grown up with street races and ended up "lacking the charm", according to Khan.

Ajay drives the Chevrolet Camaro (Rat) (red color), and Mars drives the Renault R230 F1 Team R26 (yellow color); they take care of their cars just enough to keep them from wrecking, though not as obsessively as Khan, their boss. They see him as an authority, perhaps the only one in their lives, since he's the one who gave them the opportunity to really become important in this racing world, gaining their trust and protection.
