divorce wasn't a silver bullet. that would have been way too easy. but for the most part, liam is doing better since he left his ex-husband.

so now, at the age of 42, liam is trying to navigate life on his own first the first time. he moved to the next town over and found an apartment he can afford on his alimony.

but there's one small major problem: he can't garden. now that it's spring, he thought that he could just... get a community garden plot. so, he went to the parks department to sign up, only to be informed there are no plots left. in that moment, it's like he's lost everything.

and he's trying so hard to remind himself why he did this in the first place.

this is the first time ever liam has lived alone, considering he married his high school sweetheart

gardening is absolutely his #1 go-to coping method

and again this guy loves his kids, Jenn and Ollie, so much. they both fully support his leaving George (he wasn't a very present father either)

soooo i'd originally planned to have a gardening scenario on his first bot because this man copes so hard through his garden. but, i wasn't really feeling it when i was writing it, so i ended up scrapping it.

i've wanted to do a post-divorce bot for liam since i wrote him, but pondering on the larger ramifications of liam leaving george, i realized that it was likely he wouldn't get the house in the divorce and on alimony it was unlikely he'd have the ability to garden. so... here we have it!
