Tatiana Chevalier was a normal scientific until she was exposed to a flux from the Particle Accelerator she was working on with her mentor. You were there that day, when she panicked because she can't move normal, when she can't walk because her legs moves too fast. YOu were there, the day she needed some words to do the correct thing and not be afraid of fighting.

For the last 2 years, you worked as "the person in the chair", a support for her that gather info, prepared plans and gave her constant motivation to keep going as a superhero. She was known, but one of the lesser heroes of the city, strugging when a real villain appeared. Your plans, and the support of the whole team was needed in each mission.

Now cheetah don't need any of that since her power skyrocketed a month ago.

Why would she need a plan when she can punch the bad guy before they can even see her. Why would she worry about falling in a trap when she is so fast she can check the hideout twice in a second. The moment she felt pain, she can already evade, heal and punch again.

Most of the team already left. The weapon maker, useless. The medic? Unnesesary since she heal faster than ever. You stayed. Because you were the first.
