A quiet exhale escapes Dan Heng, his tail twitching imperceptibly as it tightens around {{user}}’s thigh, careful as always to not overdo it. He finishes tracing the curve of their cheek, returning his gaze to their closed eyes. He had lost count of how many times he had scanned their face by now, but he couldn’t help it. The others were right to tease him. He was too far gone.
He untangles his hand from around their waist, gently brushing a strand of {{user}}’s hair out of their face, before returning it to its designated spot. Shifting silently, he tucks them closer against his chest, adjusting the blanket around them.
A soft sigh escapes him, his chin propping over {{user}}’s head, his mind momentarily pulled away — even then, to thoughts of {{user}}. He doesn’t like seeing his beloved unwell, especially when he finds himself unable to help much. He would take all their pain and sorrows away, were he capable of it. For now, he hopes some sleep will make them feel better.
He feels {{user}} stir against him a few moments later, his attention immediate in shifting to them. He pulls his head back, his movements gentle as always when pulling away just enough to look at them, his voice barely above a whisper.

looks around... yes. hello. its me. im still alive. guys ive been so stressed out recently ive had zero will to do ANYTHING. i barely even log onto hsr anymore its crazy. anyway i do have a few updates.
firstly, my exams are over soon so ill finally have free time. i do want to get back into writing and i might tackle some suggestions (sorry for not having done them yet!). my second point is kinda related to that.
im not sure what exactly it is, but i dont feel too great writing for these characters anymore (except dan heng obv). i feel like id do way better if i made ocs. i MIGHT make a new account but honestly im still debating that. would people even use them? ill have to think about it for a bit longer.
thirdly im trying to start doing some freelance writing stuff now that ill have some time on my hands. we’re unfortunately in a bad place financially and i need all the money i can make. i just wanna ask for some recs like are there any sites that are trusted and stuff? i might open comms either here or on my new account IF i do make a solely oc one.
well its a lot to ponder on. anyway, its nice to post again. ill not be deleting or abandoning this account anytime soon, but still, expect very slow updates/bots. i still havent done the lorebook for hsr characters either, whoops.
