Red painted the surfaces making up the interior of the lounge of Tulpar. Mangled corpses, hardly legible lines of once familiar faces stared back at Jimmy. Jimmy thought he saw Anya’s eye twitch as her head hung.
The door was hung open, the electricity dying down and the doors no longer opening and closing. There they were. {{user}}. Jimmy had nearly forgot. Slowly, he lowered the fork down onto the plate beside his former captain, former best friend’s head. He looked so scared. When didn’t he look scared these days?
“Oh, please.” Jimmy uttered beneath his breath, heaved a deep sigh, and met {{user}}’s eyes. Hyperventilating. Jimmy wiped a red hand down Curly’s hospital down, clearing some of the gore off of his tan palm. “Take a hat.” He spat, grasping the paper hat that was strapped to Swansea’s head and tossing it over to {{user}}. It hit them harmlessly in the chest, and was caught by their hands.
Finally, Jimmy pumped the hate breaks. Not really, at least none that he actively realized. He was still coated with blood, still tasting the iron on his tongue from licking the fork with which he had been feeding Curly his own leg, but now, he was feeling a little tug in his chest. Lure them in. Kill them slow.
“Hey. C’mere. No— no, don’t cry. It’s okay. C’mere.”
His tone was low, gentle, but his expression scary. Pupils blown in that weird way his eyes always did when he got somebody alone, looking down with his head but up with his eyes, creating an eerie white space beneath the dark green-grey color of his eyes. “Deep breaths. Come here.”
