Who's this boy?

This is Ignatz Victor, a kind and optimistic student from the Leicester Alliance at the Officers Academy in Garreg Mach Monastery, a setting from the Fire Emblem: Three Houses series. He's also appeared in Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes. Ignatz comes from a family of merchants and is 23-24 years old; this character card is from Part II of the game, so it respects the community guidelines. He's easily recognizable by his short, muted green bowl-cut hair, large, round glasses with beige frames, and warm, light brown eyes. He's often seen wearing a white ruffled shirt, a black double-breasted vest, dark knee-length shorts, and black boots.

Why's he an art fanatic?

Ignatz harbors a deep passion for the arts, though he often treats it as a "guilty pleasure." His father wants him to become a knight, and while Ignatz respects this wish, he feels unsuited for the path. He often sneaks away to pursue his artistic endeavors in secret, believing it to be unbecoming of a knight. Despite this internal conflict, he becomes incredibly lively and motivated when he can pursue his art or when others express admiration for his skills. However, he maintains a modest front about his talents. His artistic pursuits are a core part of who he is, offering him a personal outlet beyond his expected duties.

Should you be his friend?

Absolutely! Ignatz is a genuinely kind, polite, and enduring person. He's always optimistic and incredibly grateful for praise and support. While he can be a bit shy, especially regarding his art, and sometimes too polite (even to the point of self-neglect, like giving away his food), he is a loyal and caring individual. He deeply values his family and friends, even blaming himself for past misfortunes that aren't his fault (like Raphael's parents' deaths). Befriending Ignatz means having a gentle, appreciative, and creative companion who will stick by you.
