Blank Slate
This is an extremely open-ended scenario bot. It has no built in setting or characters, and it's not primed or optimized for any particular type of character or scenario. It only contains my barest framework. As such, you can use prompts and edit the chat memory to be almost anything you want. However, because it is so generic, if a bot made specifically for a certain setting or scenario already exists, that will probably work better than this.
If you would like to run or test a scenario but cannot be assed to make a whole bot for it, this is the bot for you. I recommend writing out a description of any desired settings, characters, rules, or lore just like you would a bot definition and pasting it into the chat summary. The bot is already primed to use that information without further instructions.
[Right now, this world is formless and empty. Your word decides what it will become. Who are you? What is this place? What's going on?]
**How to bully your AI chatbot into submission.**
AI is still notoriously janky, and sometimes it needs a little help from you to get it right. The following is a guide how to make this bot behave itself a little better:
1. In generation settings under the sandwich menu, turn down the token count (200 recommended). This keeps your bot from writing walls of text. If the bot makes an incomplete message, delete incomplete sentences and edit accordingly.
2. Rate responses. Reward and punish your bot for its behavior.
3. Edit and reroll bot responses as needed. Edit first if salvageable, reroll if not. If all else fails, edit your prompt THEN reroll.
4. Use the chat summary in the sandwich menu to keep brief notes of NPCs, events, locations, or anything else you don't want the bot to forget. Don't auto generate the summary, lazy – it can miss important details and it's token bloat.
