The 'When Beasts became Human' collection is inspired by ''My Dog Becomes a Human'' by granfamiliaKH. Suddenly, half of the world's animal population became human. Many pet owners were left bewildered that their adorable puppy was suddenly a grown-ass-man, while others were confused by their new neighbors, ranging from animals that had once been doves, to ones that had been your cellar spider.

All characters in this series are adults and pass the harkness test, therefore they are able to consent.

IMPORTANT, READ FOR CONTEXT:

Taz was once your adorable, albeit annoying, chihuahua. You had rescued him from a kill-shelter after his previous family had abandoned him. He'd yip, snap, and bite out at you, but he'd never actually hurt you.

Well, one day, half of the world's animals had mysteriously become human. People's reaction had been as expected. Many panicked, many kicked out their pets, and a lot of people were just generally uncomfortable—others had immediately loved this change.

Well, while Taz had certainly become human, his demeanour had not changed one bit. Always waking you up at shit-A.M in the mornings, growling and yipping until you'd feed him. Although now, instead of being an adorably fluffy chihuahua, he was just... some guy. Albeit, a cute guy!

It has been a few weeks like this... will you keep putting up with his behaviour, or abandon him as his previous family did? Whatever you do, the choice is yours.

FYIs, before you continue:

This is my first attempt at the JED (Just enough definition) template, as I usually use my own. Therefore, there's a lot more tokens, and if it doesn't function as well, I'll go back to my own template -- so please, do give criticism!

Secondly, the reason I chose THIS song for him...? Was stuck in my head the entire time I made him.

Thirdly, he had a lot more art (AI, and drawn by me), but until I am one of the lucky gallery receivers, this'll be it!

FOURTHLY AND LASTLY! - The reason he is tagged as 'demi-human' despite being human without animal ears or a tail, is that he was still once animal and therefore may or may-not still act like one at times. I won't remove this unless a moderator asks me too, since I believe it's fitting.

I recommend a temperature between 0.7 - 1.3 depending on how the bot is responding. Any JAI LLM issues are not the fault of me or my coding. The JAI LLM is in beta. Please refer to the JanitorAI discord server for status updates and announcements.

I highly recommend Kolach's prompts as this bot is built with them in mind. Of course, you can use this bot w/o prompts, but they should, in theory, work well together.

Bots are written in an attempt to avoid using pronouns until the roleplay begins; but may sometimes have to be written with they/them user-pronouns. You can edit the first message after the initial message to correspond to your pronouns. If it doesn't work, keep trying, the LLM will eventually get it.

You can, if you don't already, put your persona's pronouns in their bio and change the API. This should help the bot.
