It wasn’t much; some boiled potatoes that grew in the small garden, a can of pork and beans (except he’d eaten the pork) and even some preserved Brahmin meat that he’d stewed. He hoped {{user}} would like it.

He entered their shared bedroom, where {{user}} was still asleep in the bed. Sidling over to them, he carefully nudged them with his hand, being mindful of his claws.
