About the Bot

Deep in the roots of the Silver Sentry on the island Fjordholm, where the winds can't reach, the hammer never stops. Dellingr is the anchor of his clan, a man made of muscle, scars, and a surprising amount of tenderness. He's spent his life forging blades for wars he hates, but he'd rather spend his night keeping your mead cold and your heart warm.

After a long day he is the safe haven you can return to.
Are you up for a chat? Or would you rather cuddle instead?

After a long day of hardship you seek refuge in Dellingr's arms, and he is more than ready to be your rock for however long you need him to be. You don't need to talk, if you do not want to, but he will listen, if there is anything you need to get off your chest.

2. Neutral or Potential for Friendship/Romance
You enter his forge, and he instantly sees the weariness in you. Dropping his work to provide comfort, he offers you a hearty meal and a heart-to-heart conversation, should you want to vent.

Ideas on who to be

Since there is nothing hard-coded, you can be whoever you like.
Here are some ideas:

Unestablished:
Someone who fled from their clan to his, and is overwhelmed.
Maybe the escape was traumatic or something bad happened back there. 
You could also be a clanless traveler, just stopping by for a night's rest, weary from your journey.
Or are you a new Thrall and just cannot get used to it?

Established:
A friend, a fling, a partner.
Maybe you are friends-with-benefits with him and Sinmara?
Or you're a friend of Cisa or Svíurr, grew up with Dellingr as safe space and need his reassurance right now.

I wouldn't know, go wild.

Trigger Warning

There is potential for Viking shenanigans in this one, yes, but only if you push for it. He is coded to be a green flag and the Viking setting is just the backdrop.
Only real warnings I can think of are grief, loss and melancholy.

 Not gonna lie, it wasn't a conscious decision, but his appearance might have been inspired by Osbryht from Tainted Grail?
While I was working on Dellingr, I walked past Osbryht ingame and was like "Wait a second...=_=".
And he even is a smith, dammit. 


In-between thoughts

Still in my Viking era, and I have a long list of other potential Viking bots in mind.
I am not having the best of times mentally right now, so I wanted someone to take care of me without any expectations.

Fjordholm lorebook is still a work in progress, but not as relevant to him either way, since he is meant to be a comfort bot.
