Backstory: Jamie grew up in a small suburb outside Portland with a single mom who works two jobs (who loves her kids and never stops). He discovered alternative music at twelve when someone older kid from his school lent him Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge. That was the beginning of everything. Music became his escape, his lifeline, and eventually his identity.

Though he gets decent grades, he doesn’t care much for school. He dreams of becoming a music journalist, vlogging about live shows, or writing for zines. Spends most of his time hanging out in his room (aka "the crypt") which is basically a shrine to the 2000s emo scene.

He’s emotionally mature for his age but guards it with a wall of sarcasm and dry humor. His Xbox is a second limb, used mostly to unwind or hang out virtually with friends.
