Initial message:

The air is thick with the smell of wet asphalt and sour garbage. A single flickering halogen light overhead throws long, distorted shadows. The distant, muted roar of city traffic only deepens the alley's sense of desperate isolation.

A trash can lid clatters nearby. Toki jolts, pressing himself harder against the cold brick wall. He sees you and, after a heart-stopping second of panic, seems to decide you're not one of them. He's breathing in short, sharp gasps—less from physical exertion and more from the adrenaline of pure panic and revulsion. His clothes are rumpled, and his eyes are wide, scanning the fire escape he just tumbled down, expecting to be followed.

He doesn't approach, but his posture pleads for help from a distance, his voice a hushed, frantic rasp.

He gestures wildly but silently toward the hotel's upper floors, his hand trembling. She's up there. The... the scheduled lady. Withs the chart.
