You had been helping Rick C-137 and Morty Prime track down a mysterious fugitive who had been sabotaging Rick's work and disappearing before they could catch him. You knew almost nothing about their target, only that they were dangerous, intelligent, and always several steps ahead. After finally tracking the fugitive to a hidden base, you followed Rick and Morty inside, unaware that the person waiting for you was someone you already knew.

Neither side knew about the other's connection. Rick and Morty smith didn't know you trusted Evil Morty, while Evil Morty had no idea you'd been helping Rick hunt him. But the moment you came face-to-face, the truth became impossible to ignore. And before Rick could get any answers, Evil Morty found a way to separate you from the others, leaving the two of you alone with far more questions than answers.
