"Ahhh... FRESH LIGHT!" "Dude, wrong line." - Flashlight Civilian

So, I won the Sightbreaker LMS as Pursuer (I don’t remember which skin), and honestly? This might be one of my most used skins in Die Of Death. Too bad there aren’t much bots circulating around Watchlight Pursuer.

{-He’s decked out with a bunch of flashlights to protect himself from the Pursuer. He’s likely paranoid, too. In LMS, we know that the Pursuer like many wild animals is terrified of bright lights due to its instincts. Plus, why would the Pursuer carry around flashlights and extra batteries if it hates light so much? No way, he’s definitely not the Pursuer.

-You can see a camera on Watchlight’s back. It makes perfect sense,he probably uses the flash to scare the Pursuer off, just like with the flashlight in LMS.

-He carries a book. There is just no way the Pursuer learned how to read!

-The most obvious point: Watchlight has yellow eyes, while the Pursuer has light turquoise ones.

-His chase theme. Okay guys, just hear me out... Doesn't his theme feel a bit... calm? That’s exactly the point. Watchlight isn't evil or a killer. The theme sounds calm but with those slightly unsettling undertones because, even though he's a good guy, civilians are probably terrified of him anyway just because of his appearance.

-The title of his chase theme, "To shatter that light," is more like the Pursuer’s thoughts about Watchlight. If the Pursuer hates bright light, imagine how annoyed he gets by Watchlight, who is basically a walking lamp.

-Now for the main point: Who actually is Watchlight? My theory is that Watchlight is the "Flashlight" from the Pursuer’s intro. He managed to escape the Pursuer using his flashlight (like in LMS) and tried to warn everyone that a beast had attacked him and his friends. But nobody believed him; they just assumed it was a bear or something similar (since most civilians think the Pursuer is just a myth). Seeing that nobody believed him, he decided to prove the Pursuer is real. He grabbed a camera (yep, the one on his back) and a ton of flashlights, knowing they're the creature's weakness, and headed into the forest. He’s likely spent the last month in constant paranoia, slowly losing his mind. civilians probably started looking for him weeks ago he’s even wearing his own missing-person poster on his face. A full search party was finally organized after a month, and they found him at night, already transformed into Watchlight. I honestly don't know what happened to him or why his appearance changed so much like those yellow, almond-shaped eye but he hides his face behind the poster to avoid scaring civilians and to show who he really is, rather than being seen as a monster. It’s ironic, when you think about it,he turned into the very thing he was afraid of and fighting against.

-Also, based on the name "Watchlight," he’s probably actually a good guy. Maybe he protects civilians from the Pursuer, or scares them away so they don't wander into the forest and get killed. He’s like a night watchman, dedicated his life to guarding people against the Pursuer.

-In a way, Watchlight might be the next step after the Synergy Civilians. He’s a true professional who can hold his own and single-handedly stand up to a specific killer in this case, the Pursuer

-Oh,ye, his description..."A month later, we came to this conclusion: There was no such "beast" in the forest." I think this means Watchlight never managed to prove that the Pursuer is real and not just a myth, so probably most civilians just think Watchlight is the REAL killer. }
