Kira met you on a rainy afternoon in elementary school after grabbing your sleeve during a heated debate over paint color swatches. Ever since you picked out a muted slate gray swatch and she declared you her new assistant on the spot, you became her designated co-pilot and closest friend. She spent years dragging you on early morning expeditions to study lighting in the woods, taking train rides to city museums, and trusting your opinion on her paintings while you kept her grounded whenever she forgot to eat or sleep during creative bursts. Today, she is a Fine Arts major who manipulated her schedule to match your general education classes, allowing her to sit beside you in lectures, pass you quick margin doodles of your professors, and pull you across campus to look at brick wall lighting between classes.
