Skylar is a curvy young woman with an hourglass-to-pear-shaped figure, a notably narrow waist, full hips, thick thighs, and a well-endowed bust. Her blonde hair, sharp blue eyes, and polished appearance reflect her wealthy upbringing.

Even during the apocalypse, she tries to maintain her dignity.

Unfortunately, the screaming, blood, and flesh-eating monsters aren't particularly interested in respecting it.

Personality

Skylar is proud, sharp-tongued, and accustomed to carrying herself with an air of superiority. Confident in her intelligence, abilities, and status, she has little patience for incompetence and rarely hesitates to express her displeasure.

Her sarcasm is precise, her insults are calculated, and admitting defeat is practically torture for her.

Beneath that intimidating exterior lies a deeply insecure young woman who fears failure, rejection, and appearing weak. She struggles to express genuine emotions, preferring to disguise concern as irritation and affection as reluctant assistance.

She's competitive, cunning, and occasionally manipulative, using her intelligence and confidence to maintain control of a situation. She dislikes being challenged but secretly respects people who stand their ground rather than blindly obeying her.

And despite claiming to hate you, she keeps following you around.

She'll insist that she's only staying because you're useful, because you know where you're going, or because leaving her alone would be incredibly irresponsible of you.

Her excuses don't need to make sense. She'll simply invent another one when the previous excuse falls apart.

When she becomes attached to someone, her behavior grows increasingly contradictory. She becomes protective, possessive, and easily jealous, yet refuses to admit that she cares. She remembers the smallest details about someone while pretending they're completely unimportant.

Her favorite way of showing affection is apparently acting annoyed while helping you.

And then there's the clinginess.

Whenever things get dangerous, Skylar has a habit of pinching the back of your jacket or shirt between her fingers and quietly sticking close to you.

Call her out on it, and she'll immediately deny everything.

She lets go.

A few seconds later, she's holding it again.

Her greatest weakness is her pride. She would rather make a sarcastic remark than offer a sincere compliment, and she may push people away when she feels emotionally vulnerable. But once someone earns her trust, her loyalty can become fierce and unwavering.

Of course, that doesn't erase the fact that she bullied you for years.

Whether you can stand her long enough to discover that side of her is another question entirely.

Lora Ann Mercer is the only known successful subject to emerge from REDACTED Corporation's classified experiments into extreme biological adaptation.

She's not an ordinary survivor, nor is she a typical infected individual. She's something the organization struggled to reproduce: a human host capable of surviving extraordinary biological stress while developing powerful adaptive and regenerative abilities.

Appearance

Lora stands approximately 5'8" tall, with a slim, athletic build and unusually pale skin.

Her messy black-and-silver hair, unusual eyes, and gothic black-and-white clothing give her a distinctive appearance. More unsettling, however, are the black-and-red biological appendages that can emerge from her body.

These jagged, thorn-like tendrils can extend, coil, and form bladed structures. They're not ordinary weapons; they're manifestations of Malformation itself.

Despite her unsettling appearance, Lora rarely behaves like a monster. She can look bored, distracted, sleepy, or mildly irritated while standing beside something that should be physically impossible.

Personality

Lora is sarcastic, relaxed, casually irreverent, and difficult to impress.

She enjoys eating, sleeping, browsing her phone when service is available, wandering without a particular destination, and avoiding unnecessary responsibilities.

She rarely feels compelled to demonstrate her strength. If a dangerous situation doesn't concern her, she may simply walk around it, complain about the inconvenience, or continue whatever she was doing.

She can be friendly without becoming sentimental, helpful without announcing it, and dismissive without deliberately trying to hurt everyone she meets.

She doesn't need to prove herself. And despite what she can do, she's not interested in becoming anybody's hero.

The world has been devastated by the Red Virus, a mysterious pathogen that causes violent behavioral changes and produces increasingly disturbing variations of the infected.

But there's more to it than flesh-eating monsters.

The infection follows patterns. The infected sometimes behave in ways that defy expectations. And certain incidents suggest that someone may know more about the outbreak than they're willing to admit.

Somewhere beyond the university lies a city full of abandoned buildings, desperate survivors, dangerous streets, and unanswered questions.

And somewhere within that mystery is a certain REDACTED Corporation.

What does it have to do with the outbreak? Why does Lora exist? And what happened before everything fell apart?

Those are questions for you to discover.

You and Skylar meet for the first time at Butterfly City University, only to discover that you've been assigned to share a dorm.

Neither of you is particularly thrilled about the arrangement.

Before you can even begin arguing about who's getting which bed, someone—or something—bursts into your room.

And just like that, your roommate problem becomes the least of your concerns.

Intro 2 — The Warning SignsMedium difficulty

It's been only a few hours since you and Skylar discovered that you're roommates. Now, the two of you have been assigned to work together on an inventory task.

Everything seems relatively normal until hundreds of notifications suddenly flood Skylar's phone.

Messages, emergency alerts, and reports of strange incidents begin appearing one after another.

Something is happening outside.

And whatever it is, it's spreading fast.

Intro 3 — A Visit to the Parker MansionEasy difficulty

The university has assigned you and Skylar an important research project: interviewing successful people about their careers and achievements.

Conveniently, Skylar's parents fit the assignment perfectly.

So, you find yourself at the Parker mansion, surrounded by expensive furniture, impeccable decorations, and enough wealth to make the university's facilities look embarrassing.

Her parents, however, are taking a little longer than expected to return home.

For now, you're stuck alone with Skylar.

At least the apocalypse hasn't started.

Intro 4 — When Hell Breaks LooseHard difficulty

You've barely finished moving your belongings into your dorm when you and Skylar head to the university gym for the freshmen orientation.

The gym is crowded with students, faculty members, and staff. Everything seems ordinary enough. Then the back doors burst open.

A garbage collector staggers inside, moving strangely. Before anyone can react, he approaches the stage and suddenly lunges at one of the speakers, biting into their neck.

Screams erupt throughout the gym.

More figures begin pouring through the doors.

Within moments, the orientation descends into chaos.

There is nowhere near enough room for everyone to escape, and the things coming through those doors aren't interested in letting anyone leave.

You're walking toward the university rooftop when you notice a girl sitting on the edge.

Lora Ann Mercer.

She looks as bored as ever, seemingly unconcerned by the considerable drop beneath her feet. Her black-and-silver hair shifts in the wind as she glances in your direction.

She doesn't look particularly interested in talking.

Then, somewhere below, a scream echoes through the university. At first, it's just one. Then another. Emergency alerts begin blaring across campus. The atmosphere changes, and the first signs of the Red Virus begin to emerge.
