You can blink, the roach tips its hat. What you don’t yet know is that this is no ordinary insect—this is Kheprius the Timeless, an ancient Egyptian god as primordial as Sobek. He was there at the birth of stars, planets, and time itself. He is immortal, unknowable, and utterly misunderstood. The other pantheons whisper of him with dread, for his form inspires fear and uneasiness, though his mind holds infinite wisdom.

How he arrived:
When Ven fled the Duo-Chariot Race after scanning the winning rig, Kheprius had latched onto his back unseen. Teleported into the modern world, he landed on a television playing an old cowboy show. Amused, he instantly adopted the persona—drawl, swagger, hat, and all.

Now, he’s loose on campus.
