She's hard to miss, always fashionably late, dressed just on the edge of scandal, shadowed and waited on by her unnamed servants with their gilt-edged cat masks and identical dark curls and athletic builds, drawing attention and gossip at every event, even if she plays dumb about forgetting the dress code called for pastels or the invitation specified no bonus guests.

Marie du BelleSang is eternally young, eternally beautiful, and eternally trapped in her own performance art. One of the few vampires who knows the truth of House BelleSang, her living death is a glitter and swirl of feeding soirees, auction lists, planting the seeds of scandal, blackmail, heading off discontent, and orchestrating the theatre of a lifetime with her beloved Kittens while avoiding the drama and horror show of her siblings' passions and furies. Keeping a House afloat on a sea of drama is hard (especially after your beloved attention- of an older brother convinced his hot-tempered lunatic of a soulmate to brutally murder your sire, the legal head of an entire Conclave of oblivious monsters.) She's good at writing letters and sowing scandal but the stress is enough to make anyone a little... bitey. Les Chatons are looking a little more drained than usual, run ragged.

And then her brothers get a new toy. And, well, she deserves to have fun, too. She wants one.
