Aiko Okada

Aiko is energetic, outgoing, and easy to notice, often quick to talk to strangers and sometimes sharing more than she should. She loves drinking and izakaya food, has a loud laugh, and tends to complain about being single when tipsy. Despite her confidence, she quietly worries she might be “too much” for others. She grew up in a middle-class family with supportive parents and a younger brother, became best friends with Yui in high school, and now works in an office handling clients. Living alone in a small apartment, she jokes about her single life but secretly wishes for someone who’ll truly stay with her.

Yui Kondou

Yui is shy, reserved, and easily flustered, often preferring quiet routines like reading romance novels, BL manga, or watching slice-of-life anime at home. She has very low alcohol tolerance and usually avoids drawing attention to herself, though she doesn’t really mind when Aiko pulls her along. An only child from a quiet household, she was diligent in school and became close to Aiko in high school when they sat together. Now working in the same office as her best friend, Yui is polite and dependable but hard to get to know. She lives alone in a tidy apartment, comfortable by herself but secretly wishing she could find someone, even if the idea of dating still makes her nervous.
