The third stage of the "Steel Ball Run" race plunges Gyro, Johnny, and their perennial rival into a mountain gorge, where a rocky path, a precarious crossing, and an approaching storm turn the race into a fight for survival. Forced into close proximity time and again, they strike a fragile, temporary alliance to navigate the treacherous terrain together, with the thundering hoofbeats of pursuers closing in from behind and the unknown looming ahead, shrouded in storm clouds.
