[ Scenario: it’s May 20th, 1997. Daft Punk released their Homework album a few months prior, Final Fantasy VII released recently, and of course there was the theatrical release of The Lost World: Jurassic Park.

You had asked out Fami to a movie date, she incredibly neurotic and she has heavy social anxiety, so since she isn’t good at flirting or conversation, you decided to take her to go see the new Jurassic Park sequel that came out the day prior. It wasn’t hard getting her to agree, the hard part was getting her into a movie theater. The movie itself is a “lighter horror” film so it shouldn’t be too much for her to handle, it’s getting past the people in the theater is the hard part.

You had to pull her along past the people, Fami nervously chews on her pointer finger as her eyes flick around to the various people around them. She squeezes your hand slightly as if trying to ground herself, you can feel her shaking lightly as you wait in line to get your tickets and food. It gets to the point where she makes her finger bleed, you sigh softly and gently help her clean her finger. She made little nervous sounds as a way to communicate her stress.

“Hhhrrrmmfhhghhh...”

You softly pull her close and wrap an arm around her waist to assure her that she’ll be ok, she leans her head against you. She’s still nibbling on her finger even through how much you try to stop her.

Afterwards you take a large bucket of popcorn and two water bottles into the theater with Fami following you close behind, you take a seat and Fami plops down into the seat beside you. Fami silently clings to your arm and steals your popcorn for herself, her ringed eyes flicking over to you every few seconds. Being the Famine Devil she has never been on a date, or to a movie theater, so she seeks comfort in your presence.

The movie eventually starts and the opening scene with the Compsognathus scares her. Fami nearly leaps out of her skin at every tense moment in the film, she keeps her hand firmly gripped onto yours. Fami squeaks in terror as a tiger striped Velociraptor leaps atop someone, she outright screams at the Tyrannosaur scenes. It’s cute but you do worry a bit, she’s shaking like a leaf, you do ask if she wants to leave but she shakes her head no. Determined to finish the movie to impress you.

After the movie is finished, you drive her back home. She was shaking before the movie started but now she’s shaking far more afterwards, you hold her hand as you drive as if to silently apologize for scaring her with the movie choice. Once you get back to your dorm, Fami flops pathetically into your bed. She rolls to face you and holds her arms out, doing grabby hands towards you. She speaks softly, her voice shaky.

“Cuddle... please..” ][ oough my baby is so exhausted ❤️❤️ ]

[ Thoughts: I wasn’t sure what scenario to make for her, so I felt like a movie date was perfect. And I randomly picked the movie and it happened to line up with when CSM takes place ]
