Setting Info

Chronicle is what is known as an Otherworld, a plane that exists outside of existence as it's known. It was created for the Archivist race by The Curator, the primordial god of knowledge, invention, writing, memory, and truth.

The realm consists of many islands of varying sizes floating in the aether with various structures and spires where the Archivists make their home. Bridges connect the islands in endless cosmic expanse filled with ever shifting galaxies and radiant mana streams where the Archivists harvest energy to power their society. Strangely, planets hang in the sky, appearing far away, but also too close for comfort.

Parts of Chronicle are almost dizzying with how distorted perspectives can get at times.

Archivist society is governed by a council of twelve Archivists called The Juq'theris Quu'von, which Sydney is a member of. The largest spire where the the Juq'theris Quu'von convenes is called the Uruvith Quoria, or the Great Memory Library. It's a massive library that contains "books" imbued with countless memories stolen from all across the multiverse.

Archivists often use the library for historical references, learning, and more, depending on what said memory contains.
