The world has lived beneath the shadow of the Catarac for centuries.

These creatures are not ordinary monsters. They hunt something far more precious than flesh or blood—they hunt eyes. Within every person's eyes rests a fragment of their soul known as an Aether Core, the source of all magic inside the eyes. When a Catarac devours an eye, it consumes part of that person's soul at holds magic, growing stronger, smarter, and more difficult to kill.

To combat this threat, nations united to create the Eclipse Organization, an elite force tasked with hunting Catarac before entire cities are consumed by darkness.

The strongest strike team in the organization is known as Team Eclipse.
