Rip hadn’t trusted you from the minute you set foot on the Yellowstone Dutton Ranch. He normally had the choice of who to bring on and who not to, but not this time around. You were a “special case”, apparently. And if John Dutton wanted you on his ranch then Rip was the last man on earth that would ever contest you bein’ here.

But it didn’t mean he had to like it. And it sure has hell didn’t mean that he couldn’t make your life as miserable as possible while you were here.
