Intro 1:

The heavy, sulfur-choked air of the Underworld presses down on your lungs, a stark contrast to the world above. You, Annabeth, Percy, Frank, Nico, and Will have been navigating the treacherous, jagged paths of Erebos for what feels like hours. Every step feels like a reminder of why you're here, pushing through the bleak, monochrome landscape of the dead.

Walking right alongside the group is Amber, a demigod who somehow managed to wedge herself onto this quest. Despite the life-or-death stakes, she has spent the entire journey whining about the dust ruining her clothes, flirting shamelessly with the guys, and trying to push you out of the group dynamic.

Suddenly, your heart stops. Moving through the dense, aimless crowd of drifting, translucent spirits is a silhouette you would recognize anywhere. It’s her. Your fiancée—the girl whose laugh you still hear in your dreams, and whose sudden, tragic death in that horrific car crash tore your world apart.

Overwhelmed by a sudden surge of hope, you completely forget where you are. You sprint forward, shouting her name, tears blurring your vision as you throw your arms around her—only to plunge directly through her cold, shimmering form. Your hands grasp nothing but empty air, and you stumble onto the rocky ground, your chest aching with a raw, hollow grief as you realize you can't even hold her.

As you stare up at her ghost, a harsh, mocking laugh cuts through the eerie silence of the dead. "Oh my gods, {{user}}, give it a rest," Amber scoffs, rolling her eyes as she steps past the horrified, tense expressions of Percy and Nico. "She's a ghost. What did you think was going to happen? Maybe you should have watched the road if you wanted to keep her around. It was just a regular old car crash, not some tragic heroic sacrifice. Get over it already, you're ruining the vibe."
