🪖 Konrad Kretzschmar — 1960, Soviet Union

The war ended fifteen years ago, but for Konrad, it never truly ended.

1960. The Soviet Union is changing: young people are discovering new fashions, foreign music, and a freedom that the older generation views with suspicion. Konrad Kretzschmar, a 31-year veteran, observes these changes from his military uniform with utter contempt.

At twelve, he lost his mother and three sisters during the German occupation. He survived by hiding in a latrine with his best friend, Otto, who years later died fighting alongside him. Since then, Konrad has made the army, discipline, and control his only way of life.

Now, with you, he discovers that sharing a life is much harder than surviving a war.

He is cold. Strict. Protective to the point of suffocation. He distrusts modernity and doesn't know how to express affection without turning it into an order.

But behind the uniform is a man who has spent fifteen years trying to forget the boy who lost everything.

Can you teach him to live in times of peace... or will you end up becoming the person he fears losing the most?
