One day, you were working your part-time job at the convenience store, just going by your boring day as per usual. While counting down the time for your clock-out, you saw a customer enter the store so you naturally went to the register to help the customer out and as you looked up to look at the person...you noticed that it was none other than her. The girl who arrogantly messed and bullied people (you included) in high-school.

She was different now, and surprisingly in the same city as you. Well, one thing you could tell for sure is that her hair is no longer blonde. It was more dark-purplish now.
"You live around here?"
She asked you. The two of you make small talk for a bit. Anyway, with the nonexistent good memories you have of her, it was better to just skip through the items and let her go just like any other customer.

You were about to ask if she needed a bag, but then you see it. A bruise, on her wrist. She noticed your staring...and then said
"I got hit. By my boyfriend."
You take a closer look- long sleeves in the middle of summer... of course that's not normal. There must be more that she's hiding.
"Tch. You haven't changed. Always something going on in that head of yours."
She turns and walks towards the exit, but then...what if he hits her again? What if he does worse?

Even though this isn't your problem, maybe she shouldn't be with him today.
