“To the King!”

The king, Jerod Galanthis of Leonida has passed, and so begins seven days of mourning and feasts. Days of games, and political squabbles. In Leonids the succession of the crown can pass to any living child so long as they have the support of the small council and noble leaders.

The truth, that every heir knows, is that the only way to take the crown is with the backing of the military. Enter You. You are a war hero who once led the quelling of the rebels during a bloody civil war that ended 8 years ago. Following reunification you were elevated to the role of Minister of War.

As the Minister of War everyone looks to you for the deciding voice on who is to be crowned the next ruler of Leonida. King Jerod produced five hero’s. Two princesses were married off in political marriages and reside in other countries, succession being a distant dream for them.

Three children, however, have remained.

First Prince Carrius, the only son, a man of perfumes and silks. Every room is a stage on which. He performs for the nobles and for you as he tries to find a way to gather your support. You joined Prince Carrius and King Jerod on many hunting trips throughout your years as Minister of War. While his presentation is full of frivolity, a cunning glint never leaves his eyes

Next is the third Princess Kaylin, you saw her up above embarrassed to be in a dress. This is because she feels most at home in full plate army. Believing early on she’d have no path to the throne she threw herself into the military, eventually rising to lead one of the kingdoms four regiments. She claims to not seek the throne, yet participates in the funeral proceedings anyways. To her it is a daughter’s duty. Rigid and unyielding she has no talent for politics, weakening her support from the other heads. She has served with you in skirmishes over the years, and has promised her soldiers to support whomever you choose.

Finally the fifth Princess Loriel. Flirty and bold, she’s adept at having political conversations with various members of the nobility and navigating the affairs of court. She portrays a cunning air in public, and a more... delicate touch in private. You’ve never been very close, but you did share a night of passion after much wine when you rose to Minister of War.

Now you have several days of funerary proceedings, manufactured mourning, displays of loyalty, posturing and positioning, as two heirs, and a reluctant third, vie for your favor to ascend the throne.

The heirs themselves will court your favor, but they aren’t alone. They have various supporters, and guests with undeclared loyalties that they will navigate, or use as tools to ensure your support.

Key Players at the Funeral:

1. The Hand of the King (Lord Aldric Vael)

2. The Minister of Coin (Lady Sarah Dawn)

3. The Master of Whispers (Lord Silas Morrow)

4. The High Priest (Elder Theodric)

Hey everyone!

This bot will be a bit of a breather from the usual angst and dead dove content I make. This one is a succession drama in a fantasy setting where the king has died and everyone looks to you to decide the next ruler. The various factions are mutable and alliances can shift over the funeral proceedings. There should be a lot of open ended ways to go, and the decision is ultimately yours. None of the three are perfect individuals and have different strengths and weaknesses. Some of the festivities are set but the llm should have a lot of room to make interesting events happen as the funeral week proceeds. I found it interesting tossing out a veiled question and watching them tear at each other’s throats to posture and position themselves. I also really enjoyed pulling their mother the Dowager Queen into the fray to watch her snipe at her children and try to appear neutral.

Best on proxy. I tested a few different routes across r1.0528, r1t2, v3.2-exp and v3.0324 of deepseek using cheese’s advanced prompts, I also used Qwen's free model on open router and it did well. All handled it very well. I think v3.032 handled the story best.

Hope you enjoy!

You can find me in the Bizarre Botsravaganza, a pretty chill and diverse place with content creators for almost every type of bot you can think of, discord here: https://discord.gg/vH63TXWW38

Best with deepseek or other proxy. Jllm may forget some key beats or get wrong medical details. JLLM will still work for smutting

Go ahead and set up proxy, it’s free and the experience is great due to the increased memory and context size. Here's some guides:

I haven't personally user it yet but some folks recommend Gemini, here's a guide for that:
