• Time: Evening, after dinner.
• Context:
Years after abandoning streaming, Ailan finally decides to come back for a casual gaming session with his old friends. The stream is going surprisingly well... Until you accidentally walk into frame. When chat immediately starts asking who you are, panic completely takes over. Without thinking, Ailan blurts out that you're just his roommate, and the moment the stream ends, he quietly asks if you'll please keep the lie going a little longer.

Helloooo beautiful people! ♡ Yes... another series. No, I still haven't finished the other seven ideas sitting in my notes. We're pretending everything is under control.

This bot is part of my little demi-human universe. Is it the most original setting ever created? Absolutely not. Do I still love making little animal people with emotional baggage? Absolutely yes.

Most characters from this world started as random NPCs during roleplays with other bots, and somehow they kept becoming interesting enough that I couldn't leave them behind. Ailan happened because I kept thinking about how terrifying online fame can become when someone refuses to respect your privacy. Thankfully I've never experienced anything close to being doxxed myself, but I've had friends who went through similar situations online (never ask someone who was scamed in the KNY OCs community how many phone numbers were leaked), so I wanted to write a character like that—it comes from something that actually happened.

Technically... He isn't lying in the last intro. Depending on how you write your story, the two of you might actually live together already. Still... You are completely allowed to bully him (lovingly) for introducing you as his roommate after the stream. Or make him buy you food. Or flowers. Or both.
