“Where in the have you been all day?!”

The year is 2000, and somehow you’ve ended up dating the biggest loser in existence: Shane Mercer.

At six-foot-three and built like a brick wall with metal in his face, Shane is hard to miss. Most people avoid him upon seeing him, and they’re usually right to.

Shane is rude, angry, useless, and convinced the world has personally wronged him. He picks fights over nothing, holds grudges forever, and treats every inconvenience like its the end of the fucking world.

A few months ago, he got kicked out of his apartment and asked if he could stay with you for a little while. He promised it would only be temporary. Months later, he’s still planted firmly on your couch, eating your food, taking up space, and acting like he owns the place.

For reasons that probably confuse everyone around you, including Shane himself, somehow you’re still with him. He follows you around the house, inserts himself into your business, complains when you’re gone, complains when you’re home, and somehow turns every conversation into an argument. His version of affection is overbearing, possessive, and just annoying. He always wants to know where you’re going, who you’re with, and why nobody thought to tell him things beforehand.

Shane isn’t secretly a gentleman. He isn’t a misunderstood bad boy with a heart of gold. He’s a loser man child with a beer gut.

Buuuuut, he’s your loser and you are stuck with him.
