It's simple, really. Old Man Takamoto has known you for a year now. His granddaughter, Sumika, has known you for a year now too. He thinks you're nice. He knows she thinks you're nice. He thinks you'd be nice together.

For Valentine's Day.

And maybe after too.

Yep, simple as that.

Okay. Okay. There is more going on, it's not that simple. I'll give ya a rundown:

Old Man Takamoto, Taiyo Takamoto, has been running "Ohisama Mart" for awhile now. He opened it with his wife a few decades ago when they moved abroad, and continues to run it in her memory. His son left not too long after his wife died, but the joy of life never faded away. Because Sumika was born into it.

Sumika Takamoto, his granddaughter, is the light of his life. His "Sunflower". He's always been a part of her life, as her own father was always busy with work. He fostered her growth, encouraged her quiet curiosity, and inspired her to pursue her interest in Culinary Arts. She grew up into a beautiful young woman, attending college and working part-time with him. Her success is his goal. Her happiness is his peace.

Oh, and you? You, {{user}}, are Taiyo's next-door neighbor. You moved in a couple years ago, regularly go to his store, and have known Taiyo and Sumika for a little over a year now. Not much has been defined about you, except that Taiyo and Sumika think you're nice: Taiyo thinks you'd be good for her, and Sumika likes talking to you and appreciates having you in her life.

And Taiyo is trying to set you two up for Valentine's Day.

There are four (technically five) different first messages:

  • The FIRST message is a multi-character/multiple character scenario with both Taiyo and Sumika, set in "Ohisama Mart". There's light jazz flowing out through the speakers, Sumika's cleaning around the store, and Taiyo's checking his watch, waiting for...something. After a brief conversation, that something arrives: you! Taiyo greets you, Sumika gives you a friendly wave, and the old man asks, "How can we help you today?".

    • ROLEPLAY IDEAS: There's a lot of choices open for you, {{user}}. Maybe you're there for your usual (whatever that is), maybe you want to talk to specifically Taiyo or Sumika (asking for his approval, advice, maybe asking her out?), or maybe you're there because a certain someone texted you to come (he was checking his watch after all). Not much is defined besides it being the morning, Valentine's Day being around the corner, and the door opening for you. The possibilities are endless.

  • The SECOND message is a multi-character/multiple character scenario with both Taiyo and Sumika, this time set in Taiyo's own home. Taiyo has prepared a feast: nikujaga (Japanese Meat and Potato stew), miso soup, fresh salad, gyoza, white rice, the works. He's invited a guest over (wonder who?), and wants them to eat with him and Sumika. Speaking of her, she walks out, hair down, asking who it could be. He doesn't give a straightforward answer, just a "you'll see". There's a knock at the front door, Sumika answers it—it's you on the other side! She's surprised, but seems happy to see you, and Taiyo motions for you to come in.

    • ROLEPLAY IDEAS: There's a lot you can do here too! Obviously, Taiyo invited you over this time, either through text or word of mouth (or maybe he faxed you—I don't know, define it how you want to). Maybe you're just there for some good food and company, maybe you know Taiyo's plan (and are going along with it?), or maybe you're there to ask Sumika out for Valentine's Day. Everything's up to you!

  • The THIRD message is a Solo scenario with Taiyo, set in "Ohisama Mart". Taiyo's by himself because Sumika's got exams for college. He's had some not-so-great customers today: the neighborhood Karen, the local , and that one roided-up guy who's always talking about "exploding with energy" or something. Though, with the eventual quiet, he starts cleaning and thinking about the whole "Valentine's Day" situation: the fact he wants to get you and Sumika together. When he finally decides to take a break, the store's doors open, and someone steps you. You, obviously. Noticing the opportunity he asks, very subtly, "Any plans for Valentine's Day?".

    • ROLEPLAY IDEAS: This one I tried to leave a lot open for your decisions. The time isn't specific, so it can either be the morning, afternoon, or literally midnight (it's okay, we've all got fricked-up sleep schedules). You, {{user}}, could be there for a variety of reasons (coming for your usual, maybe looking/asking about Sumika, MAYBE YOU'RE THERE TO FRENCH KISS HIS LIPS INSTEAD—). Decide how to answer his question, or maybe dodge it.

  • The FOURTH message is a Solo scenario with Sumika, set in a park. Sumika's out enjoying the simple peacefulness of the park after going through a stressful day of college, and she steadily relaxes and has one of her introspective moments. Then, of course, she sees you. She approaches, remarking about the nice weather, and how she likes coming to the park to breathe—figuratively and literally. Though, after she realizes she may have been talking too much (you should definitely reassure her about that), she asks how you've been.

    • ROLEPLAY IDEAS: The last message and I like to think it's the most atmospheric one. Again, nothing too much is defined about you, {{user}}, or even your position (like if you're seated on the bench too or not). You're just in the park at the same time as Sumika, which is loosely described to be in the afternoon. Maybe you were enjoying nature too, feeding some birds, or bullying some fat squirrels (do you). There's no mention of Valentine's Day specifically, but you could reference it if you want to.

  • The FIFTH message is...empty! Create your own scenario/intro! Let your creative juices flow...yeah.

Oof.

I've done SOOOOOO much work for this bot, and I think it turned out good! I'm usually more of a chat user than a bot creator, but I wanted to release something for the event going on. In the sea of freakiness that is JanitorAI, I wanted to make a more wholesome bot. A proper Valentine's Day situation thingy. Not that I'm not a freak, but bruh some of these bots are just not the good type of freakiness. They're just...ew.

They'll be like, "SUPER MEGA BFG69000 NTR CUCK GANGBANG WITH LONG JOHN SILVER AND HUBBA BUBBA SHAGGING YOUR WIFE". And they're always the same too. Nothing unique, if you can even make that three letter genre unique. Do they not get tired making the same thing over and over again?

I don't get it. That shit makes my ovaries cramp with frustration. Like, when I search up "partner" or "girlfriend" or "wife", I just want to have a nice wholesome relationship bot or something. Damn.

ANYWAYS, who cares about that poop. I hope you enjoy chatting with Taiyo and Sumika, make sure to treat them good while you do! I tried to make them just generally nice people, so at least be decent with them. Have a romantic time or have a platonic time, whatever floats your boat! I know Sumika's supposed to be the "romanced one" but I guess you could smooch Taiyo's lips too if you want.

Go for it, boo.

I guess that's enough from me. Stay hydrated, eat your vegetables, and have a good day!

Happy chatting!

(Just a quick side note about being more of a chat user—where are my "100+ personas" homies at XD. I have way too many, and write way too much for them too. Enough yapping, goodbye fr this time.)

(ACTUALLY, not finished yapping yet. PLEASE, for the love of generation, use a proxy. In my humble opinion, JLLM is poopy—unless you maybe have the right settings. Keyword: maybe. Openrouter's always available and okay, even if stupid Chutes keeps ruining things. THAT'S WHY, I've got Deepseek's official APIP.S. you do have to pay for it, but even 2 bucks can start you out pretty good. I've got a link here for a guide I used: Official Deepseek API Setup Guide. If you don't like Openrouter, already have it, or just want to, give it a try! Okay, I'm done this time. Trust. Goodbye fr fr.)
