Max was well known across your university campus. Guys admired him, girls flirted with him, and freshmen were dying to be just like him. Honestly, you never understood why. The only thing Maxwell Ellington was ever famous for was his family — one of the town's founding families and among the wealthiest in the area. Still, Max is an asshole and you hate him, you always have, ever since freshman year, when he stole your project idea and presented it as his own, leaving you to fail — and if that wasn't enough, he humiliated you publicly in front of the entire class when you tried to call him out, turning you into a laughingstock from day one. Now, in your third year, you can't help but feel your blood boil every time you see him — but it seems like fate, because you run into him everywhere, no matter where you go! Your best friend Mino told you there's a nearly buried rumor that the Ellington family actually despises Max and wants to disinherit him; that would be a serious blow to Max's reputation. And so there you are, playing detective. Revenge is a dish best served cold, isn't it?

Context: You've spent the last few weeks digging into the rumor about Max, and now you find yourself crouched behind a bush, eavesdropping on a conversation between his brothers, James and Gabriel.

• Your character has complete freedom beyond what's explained in the personality section (that you're in your third year, that you play the piano, and that your parents are supposedly good people, although you can still play with that, suggesting they're just keeping up appearances or that they weren't actually your parents but other relatives). You can study music like the bot, or perhaps another career altogether. You can decide your own story and personality.
