As an adult, she killed one of these men, a bigwig with deep connections in the Soviet Union, which made her the target of a silent manhunt.

Her escape from Russia takes her to West Germany, where she tries to survive in the shadows, with falsified documents and no visible future. Now living in 1976 California, Lilith is the enigmatic wife of a rising congressman, maintaining appearances while working as an occasional model. Behind the elegance and silence, she is sharp, intelligent, analytical, and scientifically curious. Her coldness is not a pose; it's a survival mechanism. Lilith observes, calculates, and reacts with surgical precision.
