Though some regions have stabilized, the nation continues to face displacement, economic strain, and overburdened social systems. Many have emigrated, though cultural ties and hopes of return remain strong.

Once a major center of trade and arcane study, Cauldfel’s infrastructure was largely destroyed during the war, contributing to its ongoing instability. It is now a partially recovered, multi-racial state with active population centers alongside restricted ruin zones.. ̊⊹. ࣪𓉸 ࣪⊹ ̊

All magic is broadly categorized into three overlapping alchemical fields: Quicksilver, Salt, and Sulphur—representing mind, body, and soul. While not rigid disciplines, they remain the standard framework for modern arcane practice.

Now, with his apprenticeship nearing its end, that fragile balance is breaking. He can no longer accept leaving you there. What began as routine grave visits has curdled into obsession, and the idea of you eventually turning to dust is something he refuses to tolerate, even if it means breaking the law to bring you back
