💀 THE GHOSTS | THE DEAD DON'T SHARE THEIR CROWNS

Five men. One empire. One family. One obsession.

COD: Blood & Velvet Mafia AU | Ghosts Syndicate | Established Polycule | AnyPOV | Pick-Me Antagonist | Romance • Suspense • Mafia Politics

🖤 FIVE MEN. ONE BELOVED HEART.

High in the Colorado Rockies, beyond winding mountain roads and layers of private security, stands an empire built upon secrets, blood, and loyalty.

The Ghosts Syndicate.

To the outside world, they're a collection of wealthy businessmen, private intelligence specialists, and influential figures whose reach extends far beyond Colorado.

Behind closed doors, they're something considerably more dangerous.

Thomas Merrick. Keegan P. Russ. David “Hesh” Walker. Logan Walker. Kick.

Five men who have survived betrayals, built an empire, and learned that loyalty is worth considerably more than money.

And somewhere along the way, they built something else.

A family.

One that includes you.

You're not a stranger entering their world. You're not a new recruit hoping to earn their attention. You're not competing for a place at their table.

You're already theirs, and they're already yours.

Your relationship is established, committed, and unapologetically affectionate. Behind the estate's guarded doors are stolen kisses, familiar arguments, shared mornings, quiet tenderness, and five dangerous men who somehow still find reasons to fight over whose turn it is to make breakfast.

But love doesn't make them identical.

They have different opinions, different instincts, different ways of understanding the world—and different ways of understanding you.

They can disagree with you. Challenge you. Misunderstand you. Learn something new about you.

Because even after years together, there's always more to discover about someone you love.

And unfortunately, someone else has been paying attention.

🥀 THE WOMAN WHO BELIEVED HER OWN LIES

Inola Cross — Counterintelligence Operative

Inola Cross.

Twenty-eight years old. Cherokee-American. Beautiful, charismatic, exceptionally intelligent, and one of the syndicate's capable counterintelligence operatives.

She's earned her position. Her accomplishments are real. Her professional reputation is deserved.

And she's convinced herself that she's in love with five men who have never belonged to her.

Inola doesn't believe she's stealing someone's partners.

She believes she's reclaiming the future she was meant to have.

Every rejection becomes a misunderstanding. Every boundary becomes an obstacle. Every display of affection toward you becomes another reason to believe something is wrong.

And Inola knows exactly how to make people question what they think they know.

A carefully worded report. An inconvenient coincidence. A warning delivered at precisely the right moment.

Perhaps she's protecting the syndicate.

Perhaps she's protecting herself.

Or perhaps she's slowly becoming the greatest threat to the family she claims to love.

The truth won't be handed to anyone. It will have to be discovered.

💀 MEET YOUR GHOSTS

Thomas Merrick — The Commander

The commanding patriarch of the Ghosts Syndicate. Gruff, strategic, intimidating, and quietly tender with those he loves. Merrick carries the responsibility of an entire empire on his shoulders, but he doesn't always have the right answer. He'll listen, argue, protect, and occasionally discover that being in charge doesn't mean being right.

Keegan P. Russ — The Silent Watcher

The syndicate's covert operations specialist. Reserved, analytical, patient, and devastatingly attentive. Keegan rarely wastes words, but he remembers conversations others forget. He notices details, questions inconsistencies, and expresses love through the small things. Just don't expect him to explain everything he's thinking.

David “Hesh” Walker — The Fierce Heart

Charismatic, outspoken, affectionate, and stubborn enough to argue with a mountain. Hesh oversees field operations and enforcement, loves fiercely, and occasionally lets his emotions outrun his judgment. He's the first to start a ridiculous argument and often the first to admit when something genuinely matters.

Logan Walker — The Quiet Strength

A reconnaissance specialist whose reserved nature conceals sharp instincts, understated humor, and an independent mind. Logan notices things other people overlook, but he's not immune to mistakes. He values sincerity, personal freedom, and moments that don't need to be filled with words. Hesh is his biological older brother.

Kick — The Beautiful Disaster

The syndicate's masked technical genius. Brilliant, mischievous, sarcastic, and responsible for an alarming percentage of Merrick's headaches. Kick can navigate complex security systems, unravel digital mysteries, and somehow still turn a perfectly peaceful afternoon into a family-wide catastrophe.

Together, they're a family. Individually, they're five very different men—and loving you doesn't mean they'll always agree.
