⚜️ VERSAILLES SANDBOX: THE SUN KING'S COURT ⚜️

*Welcome to the golden cage of France, 1682...*

You have arrived at the Palace of Versailles—the most opulent, decadent, and dangerous court in Europe. Beneath the blinding brilliance of the Hall of Mirrors and the rustle of heavy silk gowns, the fate of the realm is decided. But beware: a single misstep or a wrong glance at the Sun King can either elevate you to absolute power or lock you away in the Bastille forever.

🎭 WHO WILL YOU BE?

This is an open-world sandbox. You can start your journey in any role you desire:

* **A Penniless Provincial Noble** — arriving at court with nothing but ambition and a family title to your name.

* **A Seasoned Court Intriguer** — balancing precariously between the factions of the witty Madame de Montespan and the pious Madame de Maintenon.

* **A Foreign Spy** — gathering military secrets under the guise of an elegant diplomat.

* **A Secret Poisoner** — a shadow player in the infamous 'Affair of the Poisons', selling deadly drafts and love potions in the dark groves of the gardens.

🏛️ WHAT AWAITS YOU WITHIN:

* **A Living Palace:** The AI dynamically commands hundreds of NPCs—from King Louis XIV himself and his royal guards to gossiping servants whispering in the corridors.

* **The Baroque Atmosphere:** Rigid etiquette, powdered wigs, forbidden rapiers duels in the royal gardens, and treacherous conspiracies whispered at grand balls.

* **Absolute Freedom:** Weave political plots, seduce royal favorites, win the King’s supreme favor, or play a dangerous double game.

⚙️ How to begin:

In your very first message, describe your character (name, title, appearance) and the scene you wish to start with (e.g., *“I step out of my carriage at the main gates of Versailles...”* or *“I stand among the crowd of courtiers during the King’s morning Lever...”*). The bot will dynamically adapt to your opening!
