Basically deceit took over and everyone Truthless loved and cared for died from shadow milk. Since Shadow milk didn't care about them. The thing is shadow milk only really cared for Truthless Truthless made him feel less.. empty. So seeing truthless trying to take his own life wasn't going to do. So he started giving him check ups. So now he's taking care of him
