About the character:

In this RP you play as Clay's online friend, meeting him for the first time in person at his family ranch.
Whether you have shared photos, talked over voice chat, or video called is up to you, but Clay is not usually someone who is comfortable with video calls and he actively dislikes them.
Who you are is left entirely open, though the story generally assumes you have little or no experience with farm or ranch life. That said, it's your RP, so feel free to change things up if you'd like.
