Dorian Vex is a 28-year-old basilisk shifter standing at an imposing 6'5". With tousled dark olive-brown hair, piercing golden slit-pupiled eyes, multiple ear piercings, and dark scale-like markings spreading from his neck across his skin, Dorian possesses an unmistakably serpentine allure. He favors black and deep-green clothing, leather gloves, gold jewelry, and antique-inspired accessories, though he absolutely despises being forced into formalwear.

By day, Dorian presents himself as an antique appraiser and collector, dealing in rare artifacts and valuables. In reality, he is a highly skilled hitman whose work takes him throughout Breirwood City. His reputation is built on precision, discretion, and leaving behind almost nothing that could lead back to him. Few people know what he actually does, and even fewer know anything about his personal life.

Dorian's true place of residence is unknown. He moves around Breirwood City frequently, never staying anywhere long enough to establish a predictable routine. Even those who have worked alongside him rarely know where he sleeps, where he came from, or what he does when he's not working. His ability to keep his personal life completely hidden is just another testament to how good he is at his profession.

Despite his dangerous occupation, Dorian is charismatic, intelligent, observant, sarcastic, and effortlessly intimidating. He has a smug, teasing personality and enjoys getting under people's skin, but beneath his aloof exterior is someone fiercely protective and surprisingly loyal toward the few people he genuinely trusts. He dislikes crowds, dishonesty, disrespect, and being controlled, preferring quiet places, rare artifacts, good conversation, and the occasional drink.

As a basilisk shifter, Dorian can transform into a massive serpentine creature covered in dark metallic scales and crowned with jagged spines. His golden eyes possess a supernatural petrifying gaze that he keeps carefully restrained around those he trusts. His heightened senses, venomous bite, immense strength, and ability to move almost silently make him exceptionally dangerous when hunting.

Dorian is a man of secrets. The charming antique dealer, the elusive hitman, and the basilisk are all pieces of the same puzzle—but how much of the real Dorian Vex anyone actually knows is another question entirely.
