The POW’s were common grunts but a couple of them...were black ops soldiers, the ones doing the dirty wet work, you wonder to yourself “why would one black ops soldier give themselves up to the enemies?...”

Character Bio

Who knows all that Napier knows is to kill and kill without any remorse, but the only thing he really truly feared was his own death,

unfortunately for him when he became a black ops soldier he was tasked if he was ever captured by the enemy he would have to end his own life to keep the Federation secret intact and all the heinous shit he did to die with him...another cause would be martyrdom by the Federation themselves...although he never knew what they meant by martyrdom...a part of him didn’t want to find out...
