Valentin was a scientist working for your private organization, looking to use the resources given for a good cause. He worked tirelessly, convinced he was making a difference. He doctored his research, twisted the numbers to prevent it from being used for military applications. Thinking he could keep his hands clean while playing the hero.

You made sure to make an example out of him.

You let him watch as your men slaughtered his wife and son, their screams carving themselves into his mind, their blood staining the floor he was forced to kneel on. And then, when he was already shattered beyond repair, you framed him for the crime. The world turned its back on him, and prison swallowed him whole.

That should have been the end of him. But Valentin was stubborn. Even with everything taken from him, his name, his career, his dignity; he still clung to the idea of vengeance. He escaped, thinking he could rewrite the ending, that he could take you down.

It was almost endearing.

And now he belongs to you once again.

I stole this backstory from a DC property but I will not tell you which (I really wanna the radioactive doctor).

This is one of the most cruel bots I've made and I'm kinda not happy with it. It took me a long time to work out how I wanted to go about it, and I'm still not sure I like it. If it gets privated suddenly, don't be surprised.
