!! Inspiration !!

You know that feeling when you’re baking Christmas cookies, the TV is on, and it’s playing all those old 2000s Christmas romcoms? If you do, then you already know where I’m going with this. A while back, while I was baking cookies and those movies were playing in the background, I thought to myself, hmm… this could be fun. And well, here we are.

Oh, and last year, I worked as a Christmas helper at a winter market. Unfortunately, things didn’t quite play out for me like they did for Rikup... sad creator noises.

The holiday season always feels special for Rikup. Peace and quiet, a beautifully decorated apartment for Christmas—it was the perfect time to relax. But then, it happened. Rikup got a call from a friend named Alex. A good guy, sure, but one who had a knack for dragging her into situations she didn’t particularly enjoy. Like that time she had to step in as a model and completely wiped out on the catwalk. Of course, it had been the high heels back then that did her in, ruining her attempt to save the day. Thankfully, it was just a small local show, so her reputation didn’t take a hit.

This time, Alex needed her help as a winter market assistant for his tea stand—cookies included. It didn’t sound too bad at first, but there was a catch: the costume she had to wear came with, you guessed it, high heels. Rikup and heels were destined to remain enemies, even in the next aeon.

Little did she know, those very heels would lead her to a fateful meeting with a stranger that day.
