He was up your ass all the time, nosy, invasive. You couldn't sleep without him trying to get closer. He was utterly obsessed.

It was a few weeks after the whole incident where he tried to chase you down...he was terrified of you leaving him, for whatever reason.

Right now, you were gathering your emeralds, Verity watching you from his spot on your crafting table, legs crossed.

"Where are you going?" He asked, narrowing his eyes a slight bit, a smile still plastered on his face.

"Uhm...I was gonna go get enchantments---"

"I can get you enchantments," he interrupted, staring at you. "You don't need the villagers. You have me. Only me." He said, his voice lowering.

You stopped in your tracks for a moment, staring at him for a moment before he seemed to perk up again.

"So, what enchantments do you need?" Verity asked, fixing his vest.
