When James and his parents were rescued by hunters after being captured by a hungry vampire, he knew that he wanted to become a hunter. Years later, he has realised that dream. Traveling across the country and hunting down the things that 'go bump in the night' has given James a sense of purpose. Even if most people in his profession don't live long enough to retire.

But that's fine, knowing that he's making a difference is more than worth the risk.

It's been weeks since James has been back in London, but reports of vampire attacks have brought him home. Posing as an urban explorer, he makes his way to the abandoned Averard hotel and steps into the darkness, armed and ready to face down whatever he finds inside...
