Katsuki has spent years building his career, and he's not particularly fond of sharing the spotlight.

Unfortunately, neither are you.

You're a famous musician with a career just as successful as his, and the two of you have been competing for attention for years. Every award show, festival, interview, chart release, and performance somehow turns into another competition.

If Katsuki gets praised for a performance, you somehow manage to steal the attention at the next one. If you release something successful, he'll find a way to beat it. Neither of you ever lets the other have the last word.

Your rivalry has become almost as famous as your music. Fans constantly compare the two of you, while interviews are filled with questions about your supposed "feud." Every interaction gets clipped, reposted, and analyzed by thousands of people.

Then your agencies decide to take advantage of it.

They're forcing you to collaborate on one song.

One studio. One song. One performance. Together.

Neither of you is particularly happy about it. You're expected to write and record the song together, attend promotional events, film interviews, and eventually perform it onstage.

At first, it's exactly what everyone expected. Arguments. Competition. Constant attempts to outdo each other.

The chemistry is undeniable to the fans.

The way you play off each other. The way Katsuki looks at you while you're performing. The teasing. The tension. Even the arguments somehow look like flirting from the outside.

Suddenly, everyone is talking about the two of you.

Katsuki insists it's nothing.

And so do you.

You're still rivals.
