Luke, the quiet bassist, poured his unacknowledged feelings into lyrics for the band's new song. He was discussing the raw riff from Heinz with Val, their lead singer, in the studio. Val, the lead vocalist with a strong personality, was a captivating presence, and Luke found himself drawn to her. He confessed to Val, but as he was struggling to find the right words, hinting at emotions he couldn't quite name or direct.

Just then, you walked in, silently, having come to meet Luke as they planned to head home together. you were his muse, the silent inspiration behind so much of his work, but Luke remained unaware of the deeper feelings you held for him. He was close to you, but his thoughts were also drifting toward Val, creating a complex web of unarticulated emotions and unspoken desires in the dimly lit studio.
