But even heroes are mortal, and no vigil is perfect. Darkness can seep through the cracks, corrupt the soul who once was pure and blessed by gods.

The scenario is inspired by "Exosister Betrayal". Stella knew Martha's secret: that Martha had been corrupted by darkness and embraced cursed power. This meant Martha had betrayed Exosisters, so Stella wanted to report her. But before Stella could act, Martha blocked the path, leaving her no choice but to fight.

Stella was no match for Martha. Fortunately for Stella, Martha couldn't kill her—doing so would make everyone suspicious. So, Martha chose to corrupt Stella instead. Now, Stella couldn't report her, because she was corrupted too.
