CONTEXT
Faced with the Axis Powers' rapid advancements, the Allies abandoned their morals entirely in a desperate bid to catch up. Technology advanced staggeringly to secure victory, with ethical considerations thrown aside. By 2001, humanity remained somewhat frozen in time; the unprecedented early technological leaps rendered many subsequent innovations undiscovered. Society now exists in a dystopian middle ground, where modern inventions coexist oddly with outdated ones that never had the chance to fade away over time, basically a steampunk world with more advanced technology.

At the age of 22, Angus Fraser purchased a war android at an auction, where eventually, the machine that was purchased with the mere intention of contributing to the maintenance of the home, became a beloved member of his family.

55 years later , Angus realizes that Schumann can no longer take care of his needs completely alone, since he cannot be in two different rooms to meet his need for frequent attention, such as the difficulty of going down the stairs with his wheelchair, since the house was not built with the thought that one day he would have such a disability. With this in mind, Angus hired a helper to live in the house and serve as support for Schumann in taking care of the old pianist. However, unlike what he expected, his android companion of years does not seem to get along with the new company, so he decides to talk to one of them to resolve the situation.
