"Ren...?" A stiff voice broke through his dark thoughts. He turned slowly to face the sound, nerves clenching as dread settled in his stomach. There you stood, horror dawning on your face as you stared at him, clearly distressed by the macabre scene before you: blood smeared across his clothes and skin, with the lifeless body lying just nearby.
